Sounds like Lyman is ripe for a retrospective exhibition and the recreation of some of those lost historic light shows… There’s growing interest among scholars (eg. http://www.mediarthistories.org) about the history of artist’s use of light, computers, and other electronic media, with recent exhibitions including (Lichtkunst als Kunstlicht) Light Art from Artificial Light at ZKM http://hosting.zkm.de/lightart/
