In Her Own Image at Urban Arts Gallery

The Urban Arts Gallery presents “In Her Own Image”, an exhibit of art celebrating womanhood by local female artists.

“In Her Own Image” is a collection of artwork by local female artists, exploring and celebrating the countless facets of living life as a woman.  The exhibit features work from a large and diverse group of women, resulting in a rich, vibrant tapestry of perspectives and styles.

Featured artists include: Alex Gregory, Alex Maher, Anna LittleWaterfall, Bailey Hatcher, Bea Hurd, Brooke Neilsen, Carly Milligan, Debbie Joplin, Emma Goldgar, Halley Bruno, Heather Olsen, Jenisse Taylor, Jenna Louise, Jessica Brunt, Jessica Douglas, Jill Bauer, Jiyoun Lee-Lodge, Kaitlund Zupanic, Kelly Wright, Krystal Meldrum, Meg Warnock, Ruchi Soni, Sara Luna, Sofia Chimaras, Taylor Maguire, Vanessa Colunga, and Valerie Thompson.

The exhibit will hang from June 4th to June 30th, with a gallery stroll reception on June 21st from 6-9pm. Admission is free and open to the public.

About Urban Arts Gallery:

The Urban Arts Gallery is located at the south end of Gateway Mall at 116 S. Rio Grande. The gallery showcases contemporary artwork from emerging and established Utah artists under the spectrum of street art to modern fine art. The Urban Arts Gallery is a non-profit art venue of the Utah Arts Alliance, which seeks to foster the arts in all forms in order to create an aware, empowered, and connected community.
