A year ago 15 Bytes writer Ehren Clark profiled Emmanuel Makonga, a watercolor painter and graphic artist who grew up in the former Zaire and who has been living in exile since 1993 because of his controversial work as a political cartoonist. In the article Clark mentioned Makonga’s upcoming project to produce a comic book with an ecological message, something which a year later has become reality in the form of a self-published harback book “Africa’s Poachers.”
