Dana Worley

Dana Worley is an artist and educator focusing primarily in kiln formed glass. She is an avid outdoors person and her passion for nature is reflected in her creativity. Using a variety of techniques, Dana strives to convey the sense of wonder she finds in these experiences using color, shape, and visual and physical texture in her fused glass art.

Dana is an active arts leader in her community. She has been a member of the Glass Art Guild of Utah since 2012, has served on the Guild’s board since 2017, and acts as Education Chair in her current role. She was a founding member of the Artists Gallery in Logan, UT, and was active in this local artists cooperative until 2022. For the last two years Dana has worked cooperatively with other Northern Utah artists to organize the Cache Studio Arts Tour, which offers the public an opportunity to visit local artists in their studios for education and demonstration.

Dana is passionate about sharing her love of fused glass art not only through her creativity, but also through sharing her knowledge. She has written tutorials for publication in industry-specific magazines and maintains an on-line blog. Most recently she has been involved with Utah’s Creative Aging program and has taught fused glass painting classes to residents at a local assisted living facility.

Dana is primarily a self-taught glass artist. She has furthered her skills and creativity by attending workshops from renowned glass artists, including attending two, two-week-long intensive invitational workshops held at Northlands Creative Glass in Lybster Scotland.
