Cynthia Lewis Clark, an Orem, Utah native, is a passionate encaustic artist and educator. Her work, deeply influenced by literature and women’s experiences, explores the soul’s language through layers of wax, color, and texture. With a 30-year career in teaching art, including advanced placement, drawing, and painting, Clark has significantly contributed to art education in Utah, receiving numerous accolades and a national scholarship. She is actively involved in the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program, and the Pathways Program, mentoring and leading art educators and adult learners in encaustic painting.
