Phillips Gallery is pleased to present an exciting new exhibition in the Main Gallery, featuring new work by landscape painter Connie Borup. Known for her serene and contemplative depictions of nature, Borup’s latest collection invites viewers to experience the subtle beauty of the natural world. Her soft, muted color palette and quiet, intimate scenes of leaves, water, and trees create a meditative atmosphere that encourages reflection on the delicate balance between nature and human presence. This exhibition showcases her unique ability to capture stillness and the passage of time through her detailed compositions.
In the Dibble (downstairs) Gallery, American Cowboys, a series of archival pigment prints by photographer Rob Hammer, takes center stage. Hammer’s powerful imagery captures the rugged, real-life experiences of hardworking men and women living in the vast, unforgiving landscapes of the American West. His prints offer a glimpse into a world where grit, determination, and connection to the land define a way of life that continues to thrive in the modern era.
