  1. I am so enlightened by Ann Poore’s feature about Claudia Sisemore. I know her paintings because I had worked at Phillips for awhile. I would not recognize Claudia walking down the street. But if I saw just
one of her paintings , I would know which artist…and in this case it is Claudia.

Thanks to Ann Poore for this most infomative article about the very beginnings of abstract art making and
it’s way into Utah. art .. Important years as abstract art was not given a good reception.

Congratulations to Claudia Sisemore and her upcoming governor’s honor award.
And thanks to Ann Poore for writing a very informative and enjoyable article … filled with the history
for all to enjoy and appreciate.

  2. Claudia has been under recognized as a painter. Now she is getting great recognition. I like the fact that she has artist friends of all ages. Her creative energy endures.

  3. I agree with Trent, Claudia Sisemore was a great inspiration in my early life and set the tone for years to come. It was her no non-sense class structure that kept us all on task. She made me feel like I could do anything. Thanks Claudia
