Chris Cutri’s Like a Bird provides a heartfelt, observational documentary portrayal of the skilled farm workers who sustain the U.S. with its “daily bread.” The exhibition highlights not only the immense physical labor involved but also the profound insights and resilience of these workers, offering a nuanced look at their lives and contributions to society.

Through his work, Cutri invites viewers to reflect on overlooked narratives and pressing contemporary social issues, such as food production and the impact of deportation on families. Using a poetic, observational filmmaking approach, Cutri creates a contemplative space for audiences to engage deeply with these stories, fostering a sense of hope in humanity and the sublime beauty of everyday life.
