One of the advantages of publishing a magazine online is that you can quickly correct typos or ommissions even after the official publication date. Every month a number of you give us a heads up when you find something amiss with the new edition of 15 Bytes and we appreciate the help.
Another advantage is that you can add content that becomes available after publication time. Inevitably, an exhibition will come to our attention after we’ve posted 15 Bytes and we’ll quickly add it into the appropriate page. We can also add additional images or hyperlinks to articles we’ve published. This week we received a number of images of Bevan Chipman from the family of the late artist, including this image of Bevan at his 7th Avenue home. We’ve included some of these images with the article on page 5 of this month’s edition.
The founder of Artists of Utah and editor of its online magazine, 15 Bytes, Shawn Rossiter has undergraduate degrees in English, French and Italian Literature and studied Comparative Literature in graduate school before pursuing a career in art.
