Opening Reception & SLC Gallery Stroll: Friday, January 19, 6-9pm

35×35: The Zillennial Edition is Artists of Utah’s showcase of work by Utah’s young generation of visual artists. Hosted by the Salt Lake City Arts Council’s Finch Lane Gallery every 3-4 years, this juried exhibition looks at the range of styles, themes and mediums being explored by this next generation of local artists. All eligible submissions were considered by the Artists of Utah Board of Directors. Following a blind process that considered only images/videos and an artist statement, the board chose 35 artists to be featured in the exhibition.

Three independent jurors will each select a work to be given a Juror’s Award.  A People’s Choice award is selected by voting ballots collected from gallery patrons over the duration of the exhibition. The Board of Directors will choose one artist to receive a Board of Directors Award. Awards will be presented Friday, February 16, 6-9pm at Finch Lane Gallery during Salt Lake City Gallery Stroll.

This exhibition will be open to the public from January 12 – February 23, 2024, at 54 Finch Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah. There will be an Opening Reception during SLC Gallery Stroll on Friday, January 19, 2024, 6-9pm and an Awards Ceremony during SLC Gallery Stroll on Friday, February 16, 6-9pm. Finch Lane Gallery is free of charge and open to the public Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (open Tuesday till 8:30pm).
