Artists of Utah Book Swap & Art Access Parking Lot Sale

Has your spouse or significant other been bothering you to get rid of some of those books spilling off your shelves onto the floor?

What about those tubes of paint and brushes you never use?

OR

Do you love going to the art section at your local book store but balk at the price of a new book?

Have you been wanting to dabble in a new medium but don’t want to lay out big cash to experiment?

Try the Artists of Utah Book Swap and Art Access Parking Lot Sale, Saturday June 30, 9 am to noon.

THE BOOK SWAP

HOW IT WORKS: Bring in a book, take one home. Or make a contribution to Artists of Utah and take home what you feel is a fair amount.

WHAT WE’LL BE SWAPPING: The book swap will include all kinds of new and used art-related books: monographs, art history, art-related novels, instructional books, books on Utah art, magazines, exhibition catalogues, etc.

DONATE BOOKS: If you have books to donate you can drop them off at Art Access (230 South 500 West), between now and Saturday, during regular business hours.

PARKING LOT SALE
Art Access has invited members of the community to bring their unwanted art supplies to their parking lot this weekend for an old fashioned parking lot sale.

Find canvas, paints, brushes, easels, craft supplies and more.

And Tanner Frames, which recently vacated their space at the back of Artspace (where Art Access is located), didn’t want to move all of their stuff — so they will be unloading both frames and tools at the Parking Lot Sale.
