Artists for Corroon is holding a Meet ‘n’ Greet with Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon this evening (May 14th) at 6 pm at Salt Lake’s Kayo Gallery (177 East Broadway). The event will feature food, music, and a Q&A with Corroon to discuss how the next governor will impact Utah’s art scene.
Artists for Corroon was started by Josh Kanter, subject of one of the articles in this month’s edition of 15 Bytes, and is chaired by John Sproul, local artist and founder of the Foster Art Program. It is made up of artists and art lovers from across the state.
You can follow the organization on Facebook, or join them at Corroon Country.
We are eager to provide coverage of both candidates for governor. If anyone knows of anything art-related going on in the Herbert campaign let us know or leave a comment. We hope to feature Gary Herbert in our upcoming On the Spot.
