As a sort of Valentine treat we thought we’d share a short clip (about 1 min.) from our interview with ceramacists Karen and Paul Gladstone. They’ve been married for more than four decades, and for the past five years have been making clay together in their Salt Lake City home. The full video will appear in our March 2013 edition of 15 Bytes.
If you’re looking for more stories on love and art, check out our February 2010 edition, in which Carol Fulton interviewed a number of Utah artist couples. Last February, our video profile was on Jimmy and Elizabeth Miklavcic, founders of Another Language Performing Arts Company, who are busy this week getting ready for their newest telematic cinema project XYZ, February 22-24 and March 1-3. And while our video profile this February was on a single artist, Shalee Cooper, you do get to see her walking hand in hand with husband and fellow artist Tyler Bloomquist.
