Artist Statement
“The hollow headed lady is an extension of the self and the spirals a representation of an expanding self consciousness. The gathering of eyeball-cloaked men is reflective of paranoia and anxieties. At first, the lady does not accept the gathering and instead fears the stalkers. Within time, the lady begins to embrace the darkness and the eyeball-cloaked men as a part of her. These pieces are a triptych that best represent this story of my body of work.”
