April 18 – June 27
Opening artist reception: Friday, April 18, 6-8 PM
A Woven History engages organic forms of the landscape, abstracted signs and symbols and nods to domestic and religious iconography, uniting a narrative of womanhood and resilience. Through creative practices centric to place and personal memory, the featured artists create works that weave together past with present, signifying a contemporary, feminine perspective.
A Woven History is a group exhibition featuring works by Rebecca Campbell, Shalee Cooper, Angela Ellsworth, Kiki Gaffney, Dara Hartman, Emily Hawkins, Suzanne Hill, Amy Jorgensen and Bailey Rigby.
