15 YEARS OLD!
In September of 2001, we started 15 Bytes out of a basement in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City.
What began as a couple of articles about local visual arts exhibitions has grown into a statewide media resource for in-depth and intelligent conversation about the arts in Utah.
It’s one of the things that makes Utah unique, adding to the rich fabric of the lives we live here in the mountain west.
HELP US RAISE $15,000 to celebrate 15 YEARS of 15 BYTES.

What is 15 Bytes?
In 2001, we started 15 Bytes as a community-based magazine about the arts in Utah: produced by members of our local community, about our local community, benefiting our local community.
It’s an open forum. An exploration of the vitality of Utah’s art scene. And it has lasted and continued to thrive because it has been a community effort.
Without financial support from individuals in the community we would never have made it over the past 14 years.
Where does my money go?
In addition to dozens of volunteers who help make this magazine possible, 15 Bytes has six part-time staffers who help make it happen every month. Your donation goes directly to pay these staff members as well as writers, photographers and videographers who provide content to 15 Bytes.
We need your help to keep going another 6 months.
