Celebrate 125 years of art and cultural heritage with a rare public exhibition featuring more than 100 artworks and archival objects from the State of Utah Alice Merrill Horne Art Collection. Hosted at the Utah Valley University Museum of Art, this free exhibition highlights a variety of art genres supported by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums (UA&M), including folk arts, performing arts, and public arts.
Exhibition Overview:
As the nation’s first arts agency, UA&M marks its quasquicentennial with this curated showcase that honors Utah’s rich artistic traditions. Highlights include historic and contemporary works by notable Utah artists, as well as pieces that reflect the state’s diverse cultural landscape. From J.T. Harwood’s “Black Rock” to modern masterpieces, the exhibition underscores the enduring impact of art in shaping Utah’s identity.
